Bit.com Initiates Phased Shutdown, Sets March 2026 Deadline for User Withdrawals
Cryptocurrency exchange Bit.com has announced a gradual wind-down of operations, with a complete shutdown scheduled for March 31, 2026. The platform suspended new registrations immediately and will maintain limited functionality for existing users during the transition period.
Spot trading will continue until January 31, 2026, after which all trading activities cease. Users must withdraw assets directly or convert holdings to USDT before the final deadline. The exchange promises transparent asset migration with uniform treatment for all account types.
Withdrawal processing times range from 0.5 to 24 hours, with priority verification available for delayed transactions. Bit.com recommends asset migration to partner platform Matrixport as one of the primary withdrawal options.
